11/20/06 - She is ours! (but not yet)
Today the Russian judge approved our petition to adopt Helena! The 10 day wait was not waived, so we can't retrieve her from the orphanage until the first of December. Jill and I anxiously await that day. More later, as we need to leave to go see her in a few minutes.

Congratulations on your new daughter! I've caught up with your blog and got chills a number of times. I can recall some of the same thoughts and feelings and know how happy you must be.
I can not wait to meet little Helena! Enjoy this once in a lifetime experience with her in Russia.
